Inception of the transport company through the brothers Erich and Karl Werther

After the war, each brother built their own transport company. These focused mostly on the transport for the sugar factories in Lehrte and Sehnde.

The sons Manfred and Hans-Henning joined their fathers’ businesses as truck drivers.

The first trucks specialised for the transport of liquid sugar were rolled out.

Establishment of Werter GmbH. The proprietors were Walter Kliebisch, Manfred Werther and Hans-Henning Werther.

The 50th anniversary saw the inauguration of a new plant in Dieselstr., Sehnde. The company now has 24 employees and 18 trucks.

The grand opening interior tank cleaning facilities. In the years to come, these facilities will have been upgraded and modernised several times.

First reception of the quality management system certificate DIN EN ISO 9002.

Induction of the warehouse. The start of our storage and commissioning services.

The Inception of the NALOG GmbH & Co. KG cooperation in Braunschweig. Werther is one of the four founding members.

Acquisition of the Werther GmbH by Stefan Werther and Thomas Werther.

Foundation of Werther Logistik GmbH & Co. KG.

The 1st of October saw the takeover of the works transport by tanker trains from Uelzena eG, Uelzen.

For the first time we started an apprenticeship for forwarding merchants.

The consortium Werther now has 80 employees in the industrial and commercial sector, including one apprentice wishing to become a merchant for forwarding and logistics services. We have 56 units that are used to fulfil the logistic needs of well-known clients in the food industry.

Takeover of a subdivision of Langhorst GmbH & Co. KG in Wunstorf, including the associated warehouse, workshop and vehicle fleet.

Certification of the whole company by the newest standard of IFS Logistics as well as GMP+ B4.

Reconstruction of the tank interior cleaning facility.

Takeover of a part of the company Kobernuss from Uelzen with vehicle fleet and employees.

The Werther Logistik GmbH & Co. KG has 240 employees and serves well-known customers in the food industry in the areas of storage, pallet, silo, tank and refrigerated transport.

The Werther Logistik GmbH & Co. KG, with around 250 employees, 120 trucks and four warehouses with a total area of 26,000 m², is now one of the largest companies in this branch of industry
